I couldn’t help but laugh out loud when the narrator pronounced Stroopwafels, Poffertjes and Oliebollen ^_^
Video of the day
I stitch 3 videos I made while flying over The Netherlands and the landing on the airport. I came from Paramaribo with the Airbus A340-300 of the Surinam Airways!
but with me Samsung digital camera.
Here are 2 videos, which I forgot to share earlier of Revamp and Kamelot in Tilburg last month. Since my camera battery was low, I wasn’t able to film the entire songs. But there will be a Kamelot documentary from that night coming out eventually, so there is still a chance to see more.
Just watch! 🙂
Once again my favorite Dutch symphonic metal band Epica has proven that they don’t just make great music, they are all also great people who care about their fans. I already knew that, but now Ruurd Woltring also knows that. Watch the episode of the Dutch tv show “Niks te doen” and see how Epica made this fan, who suffers from a mental disability, dream came true.
Note: the entire show is in Dutch!
October 11, 2010 – Today is exactly one year ago that I attended my very first (real) concert.
The day that I saw the woman who sparked my love for symphonic (opera) metal for the very first in the flesh: Tarja Turunen
If we are Facebook friends you can read the full story about the experience and view the loads of photos I’ve made that day! Below is a video of the french band Markize which opened the show for Tarja.
